Countertop Replacement

Countertop Replacement Projects

Are your cabinets in good shape?

Is a new countertop all that is needed to freshen up your kitchen?

Whether you choose similar or contrasting colors, do not be afraid of mixing colors and materials for your kitchen countertops.

This homeowner in Golden Hills West chose to use both acrylic and quartz countertops in her countertop replacement project. The countertop along the walls where the sink is located and the upper portion of the island are LG Hi-Macs acrylic countertops. The rest of the island where the cook top is located and the lowered eating counter are a coordinating color of CaesarStone.

The sink....

This Swanstone sink was undermounted in the acrylic countertop with drain boards carved into the countertop on either side of the sink.

The Swanstone sink has the ability to act like both a single and double basin sink. There is a raised shelf portion that allows you to place large pots and pans in the deeper portion, while having room for handles to extend over the shelf.

This design also allows for large platters, cookie sheets, or high chair trays to be fully submerged in the sink for cleaning. The built in drain board on the raised portion allows you to wash dishes by hand in the large basin and let them dry in the sink on the raised shelf.

White bead board (with Showplace's baked on finish) looks beautiful as a backsplash.
